Women's Safety Open House Update

We held our Women's Safety Open House today amidst the downpour promised for our area. I don't know how much or little the rain and threat of flooding had to do with the turnout but, out of about ten women preregistered for the event, only four actually came in.

The event included two free self defense clinics - 1 focusing on rape prevention and the other on the concept of emotion-based defensive response.

The programs were received very well by all involved and we have at least one more student who will be attending future seminars and events like this one.

I want to publically thank all of my SWAT assistants who were present to make the day a success. Thank You. I couldn't have done it without you.
